Non-surgical hair restoration in Morristown & Colts Neck
We offer two non-surgical treatments for thinning hair: PRP Hair Restoration and Exosome Hair Restoration. Both support density where hair is thinning or shedding, and both work best while follicles are still active. At a complimentary consultation, your provider reviews your pattern of thinning, scalp health and goals, then recommends a plan.
How PRP and exosomes compare
PRP uses your own blood: a small sample is processed to concentrate platelet-rich plasma, which is injected into thinning areas after the scalp is numbed. Exosome Hair Restoration applies extracellular vesicle–based preparations to the scalp, often with microneedling. No exosome product is FDA-approved for any cosmetic indication, including hair restoration.
- PRP: from $799 per session, a short series then maintenance
- Exosomes: from $1,200, usually 3–4 sessions 4–6 weeks apart
- Both: about 60–90 minutes, with minimal downtime
What to expect
Before PRP, arrive well hydrated with a clean scalp and tell us about any blood-thinning medications or supplements. Exosome sessions start with numbing before microneedling; most clients feel mild pressure and brief tingling. After PRP, mild scalp tenderness is normal for a short time; avoid harsh scalp products for 24–48 hours and contact us if you notice unusual swelling, spreading redness or fever.
Results build gradually
With PRP, most clients see less shedding by months 2–3 and visible density gains by months 4–6, with full results over 6–12 months. Exosome results develop over 3–6 months, with maintenance 1–2 times a year. Results vary, and PRP doesn't regrow hair where follicles are completely dead.
Who it’s for
- Thinning hair or increased shedding
- Reduced density at the crown or part line
- Early pattern thinning in men or women
- Early hairline or temple recession (select cases)
